Moving House

Well it's been a loge time since I was last blogging!

What has been going down with me? Not much really, well I say not much - LOADS, that's why I have not had the time to Blog.

Jackie, my wife, and I are looking to move. We have been looking at various different houses in different locations in the area but had not be greatly impressed with what was on offer. Then at the end of last week – we saw a really nice house, massive garden (well massive for a house in the city), and 3 beds – what we want. It does have some work to be done, a lick of paint and new carpet but that will be part of making it our house.

As we saw this house we were thinking this is fantastic – just one issue, our house is not on the market – quick! Think! We need to sell our house before we can do anything else – it's not even on the market. Ok so we get the estate agents round to value the house, nice value!!! We get it on the market that afternoon, then just a few hours later – Ring Ring..... Estate agent has a viewing for us – WOW we were blown away, a viewing in less than 2 hours of putting the house on the market.

We have since then had other viewings and some interest.

We decided to take a second viewing of the house we like and after that felt it was right to put in an offer – and it has been accepted. FANTASTIC!!! I could not believe it. The ball seems to be rolling now and this is really exciting time for us.

 

Well I will keep you all posted with how the house move, hunt, sell, buying and whatever else is involved goes.

I hope to be writing a blog from the new house real soon.

The result!

Some of you regular readers of my Blog may remember me talking about having to sit an exam – well I took the exam on Friday and not to my pleasure I failed it. I needed a total score of 700 and I got 609, I think for my first that is not bad – at least I tried!! – I will be booking the reset for a few weeks from now, and of course I will post the results here.

I don't really have much else to say at the moment but have a great Easter all and see you soon.
